Location:   community - across Northamptonshire

Rate of pay:  £9.26 per hour

Must be able to travel throughout Northamptonshire.

Hours of work:  Regular morning (8am to 2.30pm) and evening (4pm - 10pm) shifts, with number of hours to be agreed with manager

About the role

This is a varied role which involves personal care tasks as required which may include personal washing and changing clothing, maintaining continence, meal preparation, changing sheets and bedclothes.  A full training programme is provided. The Extra Help Team provides high-quality care to people in the last days and weeks of life. The service works in collaboration with other health care professionals to give practical and emotional support as required. This care is part of a range of services that enable someone to die with dignity in their own home.
