Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking. It makes something most of us can do without thinking twice as effective!
Using the specific Nordic walking poles means the upper body muscles are used as well as the legs, and the poles help to propel the walker along. This means you work harder than usual yet the support given by the poles makes it feel easier.
No matter what your fitness level, Nordic Walking can improve your posture and the poles can help reduce the pressure on your joints and muscles.
How does it work?
Our qualified instructors, trained by Nordic Walking UK, can teach you the specific technique. We can also show you how to use the poles to make you fitter and life easier. Enjoy a sociable, fun form of exercise in the world's largest gym - the great outdoors!
