Helping older people in the villages of North Craven
Later life can sometimes be more difficult if you're living in a more isolated place. Age UK North Craven has lots of services for older people in all the villages and communities of North Craven, to make sure that everyone can access the help and support they need.
We want to promote well-being and good health in older people, and tackle loneliness and isolation. If we cannot help you ourselves, we will help you to find community activities or other services available locally and further afield.
Our services include:
- Home from hospital support
- Independence support
- Information and advice
Where we work
The villages we work in are:
- Clapham and Austwick
- Horton in Ribblesdale
- Long Preston and Hellifield
You can see our locations in the map below.
We support the local community
Where the local community tells us there is a particular need for help, we can give support to start new services, give guidance on what is happening already or support community groups to organise special activities of their own.
