Administrator – People & Development

 

Role: Administrator – People & Development

Salary: £21,465 - £22,595 (pro-rata)

Hours of Work: 28 hours per week with hybrid working

The person in this role will be an experienced administrator who will assist the Head of People & Development in the provision of a quality human resources service to Age NI

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • To be responsible for Recruitment and Selection and Equal Opportunities administration in accordance with relevant employment legislation and Age NI procedures
  • To participate in induction training
  • To ensure an accurate and timely HR administration service including updating the HR database (PAMS) and provision of support to managers on Age NI’s HR management system (MSS) and Performance management system (Cornerstone)
  • To maintain employee records including attendance records and highlight when action is required in accordance with Age NI’s Attendance Management Policy
  • To assist the People & Development Manager in the development of HR policy
  • To participate in Employee Engagement activities
  • To support employee compliance with regulatory and Age NI requirements e.g., car insurance details, by maintaining a system to record compliance and highlighting non-compliance with the People & Development Manager
  • To be responsible for day-to-day administration of the volunteer function including interviewing volunteer applicants; and maintaining volunteer data on Age NI’s database (Raisers Edge)
  • Any other administrative duties as required by the Head of People & Development

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Administration experience in a busy office environment
  • Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using databases
  • Full current driving licence and access to a car for business purposes or access to a form of transport to meet the travel requirements of the post
