Run for Age NI

Whether they’re gutties, guddies or just plain trainers,
put them on for Age NI!

Whether you are taking part in your first marathon or tenth fun run, we’ll help you sprint to the finish line. You’ll also receive a fundraising pack including an Age NI vest.

Raising money for Age NI will help us improve life for more older people in Northern Ireland.

March 2017

Carlingford Half Marathon & 10K
Saturday 4th March 2017

The race (Half Marathon) begins in the picturesque village of Carlingford and take in the beautiful surrounds of the Cooley peninsula, Ballagan Point, Mourne Mountains & Carlingford Lough. The race finishes in the village. There will be stewards along the route, water provided at various points.

The 10K route is similar to the Half Marathon except it cuts off to make the route shorter but the finish route is the same. Water will be provided along the 10K Route.

There are some small hills but the route is not classed as hilly. All finishers will receive a Medal.

Larne Half Marathon

The most scenic half marathon in Northern Ireland, taking in the spectacular scenery of the Antrim Coast Road with its sheer cliffs on one side and sea views on the other. Distance 13.1 miles - suitable for all abilities. Options include half marathon run, relay & walk.

T-Shirts for first 1,500 entrants - Enter early to avoid disappointment. Entrants must be 17 years or over.

JogBelfast 5K
Sunday 19 March 2017 - Date to be confirmed

Ormeau Park, Belfast
Route through and round Ormeau Park. Tea/coffee and healthy goodies for everyone at the finish. The race is limited to a thousand people and everyone will get a unique medal. Entry fee £8 TBC.

Belfast City MarathonBelfast City Marathon
Bank Holiday - Monday 1 May 2017

Join over 17,000 runners on the streets of Belfast, in one of Northern Ireland's biggest marathons!

The marathon route starts at Belfast City Hall and heads east to the Belfast City Airport, then west near the Crumlin Road Gaol, north along Antrim Road and south along the coast and harbour back into the city centre finishing at Ormeau Park.

You can compete in the full marathon, enter the team relay, 8 mile walk or 3 mile fun run.

The course is largely flat and is a single lap, starting and finishing close to Dublin City Centre. Conditions for marathon running are ideal.
