Slip into Slippers

As the nights become cooler there's something so comforting about slipping on a pair of your favourite slippers. For young and old alike, slippers seem to represent comfort and warmth.

Professor Stephen Heppell from Bournemouth University said he found children behaved better without shoes. He researched the topic for more than 10 years in 25 countries!

Slippers at school - Children explain the benefits

We would love your school or workplace to participate in Slip into Slippers Day on Friday 20 October (or another day of your choice). Everyone can enjoy a day of footloose freedom in their slippers in return for a £2 donation to Age NI. Your kind donation will help us to provide services and support for older people in Northern Ireland.
