Age NI is supporting networks of older people to 'Make Their Mark!'

Why do we need older people's networks?

  • to connect older people and build friendships
  • to give updated information about the services you need in your area
  • to be a strong collective voice to lobby for local issues affecting older people

If I am a member of a group, what can the network do for me?

  • promote your group to grow membership
  • offer advice and tangible help with governance, communication, and sustainability issues
  • Link your members to other community and voluntary organisations who provide training courses, information days and networking opportunities
  • inform about fun events happening near you
  • welcome your input and experience on ageing issues that affect your members

Does my local network need my support?

Yes, without older people we have no networks. Networks need local knowledge and local help. Click on the map above, or use the links below, for more information about your network and your chance to 'Make Your Mark!'. If you have a query please contact us.
