Do you belong to an older people’s group? Do you or your group worry about issues affecting later life - rural isolation, equality and human rights, government spending cuts, fuel poverty, health and social care? If so, Age NI wants you to speak up!
What do we want you to do?
Maybe you or someone you know has encountered problems with pensions, fuel prices, care packages, age related or other discrimination.
We would like you and your group to let us know about important issues affecting older people where you live.
What will Age NI do?
Our trained Peer Facilitators, a team of older volunteers from across Northern Ireland, will visit your group so that you can speak up about your concerns.
They will spend around one hour listening and talking with the group, gathering your views, and reporting the issues back to Age NI.
How we will you use the information?
Age NI lobbies and campaigns local government on issues relating to poverty, health and social care and equality to improve the lives of older people. With your help, we will be in a much stronger position to make a difference.
What to do next?
