Claire Moore from Portadown has been recognised for her outstanding fundraising efforts after successfully completing the Four Peaks Challenge for Age NI.
Claire climbed the highest mountain in each of the four provinces of Ireland in four days and raised an incredible £1910.
Claire works in McKeagneys Pharmacy, Ashgrove Road and chose to support Age NI as a result of a charity partnership with the Ulster Chemists Association. She said, ‘I wanted to challenge myself, and at the same time, raise much-needed funds to support the work that Age NI does for older people across Northern Ireland. I am honored to receive this award.'
Rosalind, Cole, Events and Community Fundraising Officer, ‘I’m delighted to present Claire with a certificate of appreciation for all of her hard work. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank her for taking up this challenge and to everyone who kindly donated. Their financial contribution will help us continue to provide services and support to people in later life who need it most.'
