Five members of staff from the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce have signed up to run the Belfast Marathon relay event in aid of the Chamber President’s Charity – Age NI.
Staff have been in training for a number of months now, and are looking forward to the big day on 6 May 2013. Funds raised will go to Age NI, the Chamber President’s Charity for 2013.
Age NI is the new charity combining Age Concern NI and Help the Aged in Northern Ireland. Their mission is to enhance and improve the lives of older people and their vision is to create a world where older people flourish.
Age NI works to improve later life for 350,000 older people in Northern Ireland through its services, support networks, policy and influencing activities. Age NI are committed to breaking down the barriers to positive ageing such as poor access to care, poverty, inequality, loneliness and isolation and transform older people’s lives in NI for the better.
