Age NI steps out for dementia walk in Omagh

Staff at Meadowbank, an Age NI operated residential centre for people with dementia in Omagh, are stepping out for a sponsored walk to raise money for the Meadowbank Comfort Fund.

The team, which includes (from left) Clare Lafferty, deputy manager, Simon Wilds, housekeeper, Annamarie McIlhinney, care worker, Tina Rodgers, senior care worker and Elaine McMenamin, cook, will set off from scenic Pigeon Top on 24 September at 9.30am, continuing their long distance walk to the centre’s premises at Donaghanie Road, raising vital funds so residents can enjoy social activities including games, arts and crafts, music, day trips and outings.

The money will help older people, their families and carers, to continue to live well with dementia.

To show support, please pick up a sponsorship form from Meadowbank, 2 Donaghanie Road, Omagh, BT79 0NR.
