No one should have no one at Christmas

Christmas Day, just another day for many older people, no different to the previous day, week or month.
The same mundane pattern of isolation and loneliness. Many older people share every day with just the company of the TV. Imagine every day like this, with no reason or purpose for getting dressed or even getting out of bed.
Isolation like this can quickly spiral into a state of despair for many older people. Lack of physical, mental or emotional connections can lead to further problems such as depression and ill health.
