Act4Age

Election time provides a great opportunity to influence our future politicians.

#Act4AgeThrough engagement with older people and those affected by ageing issues, Age NI has developed the #Act4Age campaign which identifies 4 priority action areas for candidates to consider:

  1. Staying well and feeling good
  2. Tackling pensioner poverty
  3. Equal & engaged citizens
  4. Ageing at the heart of government policy and action

The election is our opportunity to tell candidates about the issues that affect older people you know and to ask them to become Age Champions in the new Assembly. It important for us all and for our families and friends that Northern Ireland is a great place to grow older.

We are inviting you to take some simple actions between now and election day on 5 May to support the #Act4Age campaign, and help ensure that the issues affecting older people will be prominent in the minds of our newly elected representatives when they take up their seats in the Assembly.
