Reminiscence Network Northern Ireland
The Reminiscence Network Northern Ireland was founded in 1998, by Professor Faith Gibson, with the conviction that reminiscence work is a valuable intervention that can improve the mental health and well-being of anyone who takes part in it.
For the last eighteen years, RNNI has been involved in the creation and delivery of several inspiring projects, all of which have had a significant impact on the lives of participants. Our partners in these projects have included museums, health and social care organisations, housing schemes, community groups, libraries and universities.
We developed both bespoke and accredited training programmes to promote and support good practice in reminiscence work.
The Reminiscence Network closed in August 2017 but individual Reminiscence Facilitators can be contacted directly.
