Keeping healthy and active is an important part of ageing, and here at Age UK North Staffordshire we have a variety of activities to keep you moving in the local area. Whether you would like to go walking with Ageing Well, or try Boccia for the first time, this is the page to find out more.
Boccia is a non-contact sport, which relies on the skill and subtlety of the player, rather than their size, speed and strength. It’s a growing sport that has similarities with boules and enables players to test muscle control and accuracy in a game particularly accessible to people with a disability.
