New online discussion series looks at what later life means

Published on 26 May 2021 05:12 PM

We're excited to launch our new Later Life Conversation series which will explore societal challenges of an ageing population, insight into support and services available in Norwich/Norfolk and aims to encourage an open conversation about challenges and opportunities of later life.

The first episode focuses on complexities of dementia as part of Demenita Awareness Week and we were joined by Dr Michael Grey, Reader in Rehabilitation Neuroscience at the UEA and a research in the SCORES Project, an independent research study designed to better understand the cognitive health of athletes as they age; Helen Burgess, Director of Marketing & Content at AgeSpace, and Dan Skipper, Chief Executive Officer of Age UK Norwich.

If you would like to be involved in the series, or have an idea for discussion topics relating to later life, please do contact us
