“Age UK Norwich continues to Chair the Norwich City Dementia Action Alliance, supporting local organisations to look at changes to make their products and services more inclusive. With 80+ members, the Dementia Friendly Norwich campaign is gathering real traction in the city and making a difference to people who live with dementia and those that care for them.
Following another successful year, the Norwich City Dementia Action Alliance have summarised their achievements and plans in an annual report, which is available to download here. As founding members, Age UK Norwich is proud to continually support the Norwich alliance and help member organisations increase dementia awareness or improve accessibility to products and services. Norwich successfully retained it Alzheimer’s Society “working to become dementia friendly” community status for a second year running.
