Health @ Home
Our Health @ Home team will help you maintain a healthy lifestyle at home. Maybe you want to lose a few pounds, be steadier on your feet, or need a little encouragement to do those exercises your GP or physio has recommended.
We have a range of activities you can try:
- Online sessions with a live instructor, with our partner EasyActive8.
- Activity videos you can enjoy, whenever you want. These include physical health, relaxation, scams awareness and advice. You can watch these on our YouTube channel
- We have a Health @ Home DVD pack full of videos for physical health, relaxation and information and advice. Click here to order one, and we will post it out to you.
- 1-1 Support at home (Post lockdown). Our trained instructors will visit your home or somewhere local to you if you want to get out. They have loads of fun sessions to help you keep active, and they can support you on other things, like help getting online, or other issues in the home that bother you.
Lockdown is causing all of us to spend more time away from our friends and family, and this can feel lonely and affect our mood.
If you would like more contact, our Telephone Befriending service can give you someone friendly to speak with each week at a time that works for you. Don’t be alone, contact us for more information.
Lockdown can make it more difficult to get the things your need, so we have compiled a list of delivery services in the city, so you can get the food and supplies you need.
If you are still finding it hard to get what you need, give us a call on 01603 496321 and we will help you.
