Do you have a Will? If not, the Age UK Notts Will Writing Service, brought to you in partnership with local solicitors, can help you.
Having a Will can help you have peace of mind from knowing that those you love will be provided for in accordance with your wishes when you die. If you don’t have a Will in place at the time you die you will be intestate, which means that the law will decide how your estate is to be shared out. This can result in lengthy legal delays in sorting out what should be done with your property. Worse still the property may go to the State rather than those nearest and dearest to you.
We believe that it is important that you have a Will in place. In our experience, families often draw great comfort from knowing that they are carrying out your last wishes; your Will should reflect your true wishes and take account of your changing circumstances.
We work in partnership with local participating solicitors throughout the city and county. They will draw up a Will for you providing their services free of charge, meaning you pay us a reduced rate to help us achieve our charitable aims. Anyone aged 55+ who does not have a complicated estate can take advantage of this service. Get in touch with us to find out more.
