What is the programme?

The Greater Manchester Nutrition and Hydration programme is a 2-year pilot programme which aims to make sure that older people (65+) in Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Stockport are eating and drinking well enough to remain healthy and independent.

Age UK Oldham is supporting the project in Oldham and Rochdale, working with Age UK Salford and the local Nutrition and Hydration steering groups.

We would like everyone who comes into contact with people aged 65+ to attend one of the Nutrition and Hydration awareness sessions to help us champion better nutrition and hydration in later life. Sessions can be arranged for partner organisations and community and voluntary groups in the Oldham and Rochdale areas. Sessions are free and last about an hour and a half.

We are holding regular sessions at our head office at 10 Church Lane, Oldham, OL1 3AN:

1.30pm – 3.00pm

Thursday 21st March

Thursday 18th April

Thursday 16th May

Thursday 20th June

Thursday 18th July

To book a place on one of these dates please contact Teresa Griffiths on 0161 622 9267 or email
