For Later Life is the must attend conference for anyone with an interest in age-related business, research, policy or service delivery.
'For Later life 2018' will be held on Wednesday 5 September 2018 at Church House Conference Centre, Westminster, London.
Registration is now open and any bookings received from the earlier publicised date will be automatically transferred. Early bird registration has been extended until 2 March 2018.
Older people must be able to expect high quality care and support services that are co-ordinated and joined-up around their needs and circumstances. The For Later Life conference will address the state and future of health and social care in light of the governments green paper due to be published in Summer 2018.
There will be a mix of keynote and ministerial addresses as well as parallel sessions delivered by experts from across the voluntary, public and private sectors. It's a must attend event for those with an interest in social care, older people services, health and related fields to meet and share best practice.
The For Later Life conference is widely regarded as one of the most important events in the calendar for those with responsibility for, or an interest in, the provision of effective services for older people. It is also an important opportunity to share examples of good practice, innovation and to discuss future plans.
A programme will be available in April 2018.
This event will be of interest to directors of public health, policy makers, councillors, directors, senior officers, and service managers, and any individual or organisation working for or with older people in the statutory, voluntary and private sector.
Fees include conference papers, entrance to talks and workshops as well as refreshments and lunch. Fees do not include transport or accommodation.
