If you fancy a walk on the moors in the countryside or on the coast, then a new book just been published, has everything you need.

Plym Ramblers, which is a walking club based in Plymouth, has just produced a book entitled On the Beaten Track 4. As the name implies, this is the fourth book in the series of popular walks, easily accessed from Plymouth.

There are 25 walks in this well presented book and the distances covered vary between four and eight miles. Each walk has step by step directions and an informative map, as well as plenty of photographs and illistrations.

The other main feature of this book is that the entire net proceeds from its sale will be donated to four local charities. There are: St Lukes Hospice, Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, Gables Dogs and Cats Home and Age UK Plymouth.

Copies of the book can be obtained from Age UK Plymouth Centres at Astor Drive, Mount Gould & Memory Lane, Plymstock (top of Plymstock Broadway carpark).
