Music for the Memory

Published on 16 August 2018 04:19 PM

Formerly known as Singing for the Brain™ ©, our Music for the Memory sessions use the power of music and singing to reach parts of the brain which other forms of communication cannot. Our interactive singing sessions aim to unlock memories from the past using this enjoyable activity. Not only does it seem to make a real difference to those living with Dementia, it also has a great feel-good factor for all who get involved.

If you would like to come along we run 2 sessions a week. These are on Monday Afternoons, 2pm – 3.30pm at The William Venton Centre in Plymstock, and on Wednesday Afternoons, 2pm – 3.30pm at The William & Patricia Venton Centre in Mount Gould.
