Informative talks and demonstrations

We enjoy visits, information sessions and talks from various organisations within the city ranging from healthy living to keeping warm in winter to scam awareness.

Our Activities Room users have also been involved in providing informed and valuable feedback on a range of local issues to visitors and researchers from Portsmouth City Council, Adult Social Services and the University of Portsmouth.

Special thanks to Groundwork's One Stop Carriers for Causes scheme

Carriers for CausesGroundwork LogoThrough support from the One Stop Carriers for Causes scheme, Age UK Portsmouth was able to purchase reminiscence materials for activities that will lift our older people's spirits and increase their wellbeing.

We will be conducting reminiscence sessions to help older people retain long-term memory, reduce social isolation and improve their well-being.
