We will soon be starting some on-line activities, if you wish to get invovled please do get in touch

This is an opportunity to get together with like-minded people, have a good chat, a coffee/tea and biscuits and do some knitting, crocheting or sewing at the same time. These informal groups welcome anyone interested in knitting and/or crocheting. All abilities are welcome! Needles and wool can be provided or more experienced knitters may wish to bring their own.

You can work on your own projects or get involved in ours.  Twice a year we participate in local Fairs to sell our stock and raise funds for the club and also enable Age UK Scarborough & District to continue with other activity groups as well as providing help to people within our community who are lonely and vulnerable. We are currently knitting items for the August Community fair in Scarborough town centre.

We use a lot of wool and always need extra wool for our projects. We welcome any donations of wool you can make. The above photograph was taken when the Knit & Natter group met at Scarborough Library. The group now meets at our Aberdeen Walk Centre.
