We are working with Advocacy Alliance and Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind to provide the Social Prescribing contract across the Scarborough, Filey and Ryedale South areas.  We are funded through the local Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to provide this service.

The way we are working has changed slightly due to Covid-19, with our Wellbeing Practitioners offering telephone support to those that are most in need.  We can offer support with wellbeing checks, onward referrals into other agencies and activities, a listening ear, and support and guidance.

If you want a referral into our service please speak to your GP Surgery.

We have Alison who works for Age UK Scarborough & District and covers the Ayton, Sherburn, Derwent and Ampleforth surgeries; Emily who works for SWR Mind in Scarborough and covers Eastfield, Castle, Central and Brook Square, and Steve who works for Advocacy Alliance and covers Filey, Hunmanby, Danes Dyke, Hackness and South Cliff Surgery.
