Over 200,000 older people in Scotland can go up to one week without speaking to a single person, that is where our friendship calls make a huge difference. Just a once a week call to a lonely and isolated older person can give them something to look forward too each week.
The Duathlon Edinburgh is a popular endurance event held this year in the beautiful surroundings of Gosford House, East Lothian. The event involves a 5 mile run around the vast gardens of the house, followed by a 25 mile cycle, the course boasts of unrivalled scenery along the coastline and farmlands.
