Imagine feeling alone and isolated, with no one to talk to day after day. This is the harsh reality for many older people in Scotland today.
Help us change that by taking on this challenge beginning in London, the route takes you though the glorious english countryside before crossing the English channel in Dover and continuing through the rolling green fields of Northern France. You will pass war memorials and the cemeteries of the Somme. The finish line lies in the heart of Paris at the Eiffel Tower.
The trail to the summit is technically easy, but trekking Ben Nevis is a challenge – stamina and determination are a must! The stunning views of the highlands will be with us all the way and provide a fantastic backdrop to one of the most sought after charity challenges in the UK! Celebrate your fantastic achievement in Fort William once you have completed the challenge.
Who can take part: This cycle is suitable for all abilities, the minimum age is 18 years although 14-17 year olds can take part if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. It is recommended have a relatively good cardiovascular fitness.
