Wear a Hat Day

Wear a Hat Day

Get involved with Wear a Hat Day - 6 December 2019

If a marathon or abseil isn't your thing, Wear a Hat Day is perfect for you. The concept is simple! On Friday 6 December, pick your hat, get everyone involved and help raise funds for Age Scotland.

All hats are welcome from a sobrero to swimming cap, beanie to bonnet and fez to fedora, the crazier the better.
Four simple and easy steps
  1. Plan a date and tell everyone you know: 6 December or another suitable one.
The key successful day is to involve everyone you can, tell colleagues, residents, group members, customers, teachers, pupils, friends and parents. Create an event and share on it social media. Put posters up in all communal areas. Your local press may be interested as well.

  2. In addition to wearing a hat, why not organise a special event on the day? See our ideas below. This can be as fun and easy as you like.

  3. Contact the fundraising team on 0333 323 2400 or fundraising@agescotland.org.uk if you would like posters, a copy of our quiz or other fundraising materials.

  4. Enjoy the day!!! Share photos on social media. Add up the final amount you have raised and donate it to Age Scotland.
From everyone at Age Scotland thank you for your support and have fun
