Deputy Shop Manager - Broxburn
Based: Age Scotland Charity Shop (East Main Street, Broxburn)
14 hours per week
Fixed Term until 10/09/2022, with possible extension
Salary: £18,018 pa (pro rata)

Age Scotland is the national charity for older people. We work to improve the lives of everyone over the age of 50 so that they can love later life.

We support and enable hundreds of communities and older people’s groups across Scotland. We provide information, friendship and advice through our free helpline and publications. We tackle loneliness and isolation with our Friendship Line and much more.

We work in Scotland with older people’s groups who provide vital activities and services for older people in their local community. We campaign on the issues that older people tell us are important to them.

Our Broxburn shop team are looking for a P/T Deputy Shop Manager to:

  • Assist the Shop Manager in managing an Age Scotland shop, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff, premises and stock to provide a high-quality retail service in relation to financial and performance targets.
  • Deputise in the Shop Manager’s absence, undertaking all appropriate duties to ensure the continued operation of the shop.
