Age Scotland is the national charity for older people. We work to improve the lives of everyone over the age of 50 so that they can love later life.

We support and enable hundreds of community and older people’s groups across Scotland. We provide information, friendship and advice through our free helpline and publications. We tackle loneliness and isolation with our Community Connecting Service and much more.

We work in Scotland with older people’s groups who provide vital activities and services for older people in their local community. We campaign on the issues that older people tell us are important to them.

Our Retail team are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced temporary Deputy Shop Manager to:

  • Assist the Shop Manager in managing an Age Scotland shop, ensuring efficient and effective management of volunteers, premises, and stock to provide a high-quality retail service in relation to financial and performance targets.

Due to the Covid outbreak in the UK, we have adapted our way of working in an effort to ensure the ongoing delivery of services, while minimising risk to our employees, volunteers and customers. We will continue to follow guidance from the Scottish Government.
