Fundraising and Marketing Assistant

Based in Edinburgh
35 hours per week
£19,000 – £23,000pa

Age Scotland is the national charity for older people. We work to improve the lives of everyone over the age of 50 so that they can love later life.

We support and enable hundreds of community and older people’s groups across Scotland. We provide information, friendship and advice through our free helpline and publications. We tackle loneliness and isolation with our Community Connecting Service and much more.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising and Marketing Assistant. This is an exciting new post within the Fundraising Team and will support the team in implementing a refreshed fundraising strategy to achieve its financial targets.

We are looking for an experienced administrator with the ability to process data, analyse findings and engage positively with our supporters.

This is a varied role where you will be confident supporting the fundraising team in a number of ways and across a variety of fundraising areas. You will have an outgoing personality and be capable of promoting our work externally, creating a positive experience with existing and new supporters and working cross-departmentally to help achieve the fundraising goals.

We are ideally looking for someone with experience in fundraising and knowledge of the Raiser’s Edge database system.

The post will be based in Edinburgh, but you may be expected to occasionally travel throughout Scotland and the wider-UK.
