Dementia Carers' Survey

We have launched a survey for carers of people living with dementia.

We have funding from the Life Changes Trust and the Robertson Trust to develop workshops for carers of people living with dementia. We want carers to know their rights and to get the help they are entitled to.

We need your help to make sure that the workshops cover the most important topics for carers of people living with dementia. We would be very grateful if you could fill in this questionnaire.

According to the current law in Scotland, carers of people living with dementia in Scotland have the right to:

Carers Rights - Good Physical and Mental Well being, Being heard, Carers Assessment, Financial support, Choice and control and Preventative support

You can find out more about these rights on the Scottish Government website. There are also practical things which can help including: Social security benefits, Power of Attorney and Housing adaptations.
