How our shops support people in later life

Our shops are all about supporting people in later life, both through the services and products they provide, and the funds they raise to support our work at a national and international level.

In your local shop, you’ll find a green hub which is the outlet for all our leaflets giving you and your family much needed free information and advice. You can find information on health and wellbeing, money and housing and care.

We also have leaflets advertising our products including energy, insurance and stairlifts.

Working in our shops

It’s a huge operation: our shops currently process 20m customer transactions a year, employing 1,500 staff and around 6,000 volunteers!

We’re always looking for new staff and volunteers – you’ll get support to learn new skills as part of a great team and will be helping to improve the lives of older people in your local community.
