Age UK Solihull has been supporting older Solihull residents for 40 years, and we could not have done so without the community supporting our fundraising activity. Whether coming along to one of our events or taking part in a sponsored challenge, Age UK Solihull has a range of exciting opportunities to suit everyone. Whatever you decide, the money raised will go towards helping Age UK Solihull to support local older and vulnerable people. All the money raised in Solihull, stays in Solihull.

Comedy Night
Join us for a night of fun and fundraising on Friday 19 April.

Skydive for free!
Fancy jumping out of a plane and raising funds to help local older people? Join our Jump Day on Saturday 4 May at Hinton Airfield, Northamptonshire, and you can do just that!
If you raise at least £500 in sponsorship, we will pay for your jump!

Welcome Wednesdays
Join us for our monthly get together. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy cake, company and chat on the last Wednesday of each month at Eastcote Park.

Run Solihull
Complete a half marathon, a 10k, or enter the little ones into the Junior Race, around Solihull on Sunday 11 August 2024.
Entry starts at £5 per person, and minimum sponsorship starts at £150.
Challenge Events

Run Alton Towers
Starting and finishing within Alton Towers Theme Park this is an event for the entire family. Open to all abilities, you can take on a chip timed 5k, 10k or Half Marathon to earn yourself a unique themed medal before enjoying the incredible rides at the park. FREE ride access after the race is included in your entry!

Virtual Race - The Everest Challenge
Can you climb the equivalent of Mount Everest in 12 weeks? In this challenge, you can go out to the hills on your daily exercise or simply tackle the stairs a couple of (hundred) times every day. Once you've achieved an elevation gain of 8,848m, you'll just need to submit your evidence to get your well earned medal.

160ft Bungee Jump
This is one for the daredevils! Bungee jump over the breathtaking views at Cliff Lakes Watersports Park, near Tamworth. Various dates available, and your jump will be FREE if you raise at least £400 in sponsorship!
