Age UK South Kent Coast offers a free and confidential Information and Advice service for older people, their families and carers.

Woman helping man with advice

A million older people in the UK haven't spoken to anyone in a month... don't be one of them. We're here to help, no matter the problem or question, our Information and Advice service is here for you.

If you're unsure of what to do, who to call or have a question, big or small, contact us to access our popular Information and Advice service. We can help with form filling, benefit entitlement, telephone befriending and general advice and information.

We can help support you with issues such as:

  • Finding help at home
  • Housing needs
  • Pensions
  • Discrimination
  • Health advice
  • Care homes
  • Care at home
  • Support for carers
  • Welfare benefits
  • Family and personal matters
  • Utility Bill advice

And most other things that affect your quality of life. And if we can't help you, we can always put you in touch with people who can.

We also liaise with other organisations to support debt, grants and other financial issues.

We offer this service to meet your needs. This can be over the phone or face to face at outreach appointments and home visits. We can also send out free fact sheets and information on a variety of subjects to help you

We have also compiled a list of some useful website links that may be able to provide additional help, as well as some useful telephone numbers. Useful Contacts
