Support available now across Staffordshire
Our Day Opportunities team are pleased to offer activities and support for individuals at home.
- Covid-secure - following Government guidelines on social distancing and PPE (personal protective equipment).
- All staff are experienced and trained in supporting people with dementia and other complex needs.
- Person-centred support: welfare calls, companionship, monitoring, activities and respite for families.
"'Age UK Staffordshire continues to go above and beyond, supporting the family as well as Mum. They call me regularly to give me updates on Mum and insights into her needs which I otherwise wouldn’t know. Their quick thinking and approach has been invaluable."
Why choose Day Care at Home?
Day Care at Home offers great support for individuals who are unable to attend our normal Day Opportunities centres.
An individual can continue to recieve person-centred care from Age UK Staffordshire's trusted and experienced Day Opportunities team.
Individuals with dementia, physical disabilities or other complex needs can continue getting support when other healthcare services are not operating due to Covid-19.
No need to travel - our Day Opportunities team will travel to the individual's home, rather than the individual being collected by our transport team. This keeps contact and Covid risk to a minimum.
