The Big Knit Campaign 2020/22 Has Now Ended!

FAQs about this and the future of the Big Knit:

  • When is the deadline to send hats in? Sadly the deadline has already passed – we’ll let you know when the next campaign kicks off.
  • Can I still send hats in? The deadline has already passed to send in your hats, and as such our post boxes are closed. Please hold on to your hats for now, and we’ll let you know when we’re able to receive hats again.
  • Can I carry on knitting? We can’t count any more hats towards this year’s campaign, so please hold on to your hats for now, and we’ll let you know when we’re able to receive hats again.
  • When is the next campaign? We haven’t got a date confirmed for the next campaign, but we’ll be sure to let you know when we do.
  • When will hats be on bottles? January-March 2023
  • Why has the date been moved? Things are taking innocent a little longer than usual at the moment, so they’ve decided to give themselves a little more time. They continue to be committed as ever to helping older people most in need through their Big Knit campaign with Age UK and hats will be on bottles in January.
  • If the bottles aren’t going on sale until January why can’t we still knit hats now? We can’t count any more hats towards this year’s campaign, so please hold on to your hats for now, and we’ll let you know when we’re able to receive hats again.
