Tandem Support – Tailored support in your home and in your life.
What is Tandem?
A bespoke service tailor-made to each person’s individual situation. Assisting with a range of activities including personal practical tasks at home, shopping, light household tasks, companionship, leisure activities, and supporting with hospital and other appointments, through to supporting people with complex conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke or palliative care.
Who is the service for?
We support adults who may require varying levels of support - for example confidence building to more complex support. Also for a period of time or on an ongoing basis.
What makes us different?
Tandem Support is about ‘working with you’ – so it works alongside each person to support them to achieve their individual goals.
We are committed to ensuring our support is friendly, flexible and person led. It is part of and backed by Age UK Stockport, an established and respected local charity, that really cares about people’s life experiences.
Who are our support workers?
We employ people that live locally, all of whom undergo a comprehensive recruitment and selection process. We provide on-going support and training, and we carefully match our staff to meet your requirements.
Tandem Easy Shop ONLINE Service
A special service that offers support and assistance to order shopping on-line. Easy Shop ONLINE recognizes that some people do not have the available equipment or the technical knowledge to take advantage of the benefits of ordering shopping online and having it delivered by the supermarket to your door. The service will be delivered through the respected Tandem Service where no home visit is required to undertake this task with you.
