Age UK Suffolk's Advocacy Service works as part of Total Voice Suffolk.

This is an innovative collabration between local specialist advocacy providers and Suffolk County Council.


What is Advocacy?

Advocacy is speaking and taking action with someone to ensure they can have their wishes heard, make their own choices and take control over their lives.
Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and justice.


Who can use the service?

Anyone over 55 years of age and living in Suffolk.  This includes older people with physical and sensory disabilities, dementia, learning disabilities or mental health problems.

If you have Advocacy support needs during periods of disability or ill health, or are having to make decisions about your life and or your care we can help you.


How to refer to the service:

You can refer yourself or you can be referred by some other person or agency.
