Family carers

Age UK Suffolk offer a range of services to support family carers.

A family carer is someone who cares for a friend, relative, partner or any person who cannot manage without help because of illness, age, or a disability of any kind.

If you are caring for someone who is over 60 we may be able to offer help with the following services:

Information and Advice Service

We can provide in depth advice and talk over the help you need to continue caring. We can guide you to the range of help and support available locally.

Our advice is available by telephone, through an appointment at a local advice 'surgery' or we may be able to visit you at home. We can also check that you and the person you care for are claiming all the money you are entitled to.
