One of our Age UK Sunderland heroines Clare who is a Community Integrated Team Living Well Link Worker.

Our Living Well Link Workers remain dedicated to older people during this challenging time.

They continue to do their vital social prescribing to ensure older people continue to get the right support at the right time!

The team are providing support to older people via shopping, welfare calls to identify needs and signposting to additional services.

Well done team, you are absolute stars!

Another Age UK Sunderland heroine Nicola who is a Lifestyle PA doing what she does best supporting older people in need in Sunderland.

Nicola and her team mates are delivering crisis food packs and providing shopping support to older people with no family or friends to help them as they are unable to leave their homes because they are self-isolating and keeping safe.

Thank goodness for our brilliant staff as without them many older people would have went without food at this challenging time.

Well done team, you are all fantastic!

Another Age UK Sunderland heroine Lynn one of our Front Door Living Well Link Workers delivering crisis food packs to ensure the most vulnerable older people in Sunderland who have no family and friends to do their shopping get their daily essentials.

Our Meaningful Connections Co-ordinator Linda continues to support the LGBT+ community from home during these challenging times.

Meaningful Connections supports older people (aged 50+) who identify as LGBT+ in Sunderland to be more connected within the community, reduce feelings of loneliness and promote positive ageing, which is as vital as ever during the current crisis.
