The men’s group is an opportunity for men who may have become isolated or lonely due to ill health or bereavement to get together, chat and socialise in a relaxed environment.
The group meet every Friday afternoon in the Bradbury Centre (just around the corner from Park Lane Interchange) between 12:45pm and 2.45pm. The men enjoy a game of dominoes, sit and chat over a cup of tea or coffee and sometimes go on day trips. Everyone is made welcome.
The photo on the right shows two members of the men's group on a trip to the Tyne & Wear Museum Archives at Beamish.
