Tea and Chat

Tea and chat groups meet in Oxted and Lingfield.  Free refreshments, interesting talks, quizzes, tutorials and games.

The Oxted Tea and Chat session on 5th March is cancelled  - the next Tea and Chat session in Oxted is Tuesday 19th March. 

 

Latest Update

Exciting news! Starting February 2024, Oxted will have 2 sessions per month. The new session in Feb will be on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.  Guests can bring any hobbies with them ie handicrafts if they wish, it’s really just an opportunity for a meet-up.

What is Tea and Chat

‘Come as strangers…leave as friends’.  Our Tea and Chat sessions offer a space for you to socialise and meet new people whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Refreshments, quizzes and games are all enjoyed. No booking required. The groups normally meet in:

  • Lingfield – last Thursday of every month from 2:30pm – 4:00pm at Lingfield Day Centre

  • Oxted – the first Tuesday of every month from 2:00pm – 3:30pm at the Bluehouse Social Centre as normal. New session, starting in February, on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, 2:00pm – 3:30pm at the Bluehouse Social Centre.
