Connecting you with activities and events across the borough of Sutton
Our Let’s Connect programme, supported by major funder The National Lottery Community Fund, The Mercers Company and other small foundations and trusts, is a project that enables older Sutton residents to connect with their community. We do this through supporting people who may be lonely or isolated to develop their confidence and skills to connect with others, by running age-friendly events and groups across the borough, or by providing information and guidance that helps people to link in with local activities.
At Age UK Sutton we want to help people live the life they choose, including having access to information and opportunities to connect with others. There is a great range of activities to get involved in across the London Borough of Sutton, and after taking some time to research what’s going on we are pleased to share the following information guides to help you choose what’s right for you.

Working with our community and Activity Partners
Working with Activity Partners and other community-run organisations is important to us at Age UK Sutton. Sharing our expertise helps all of us to develop our activities programmes, and ensures we are providing people with a range of information and options suited to their interests and needs.
If you are a community organisation or group that provide activities suitable for anyone over 50 in the London Borough of Sutton, then we would love to hear from you!

What is an Activity Partner?
Our Activity Partners are local organisations that deliver activities across the Borough of Sutton. We have visited these groups and classes and have experienced all or part of the activity through being a new member ourselves!
At Age UK Sutton, we develop our activities to enhance the rich variety already available in the community, and work with our partners to offer new activity opportunities based on ours and partner's areas of expertise.
By becoming Activity Partners with other organisations and community groups, we can share our knowledge and support each other to run safe, welcoming, friendly activities; ensuring there is a diverse range of options available and accessible to older people across the borough.
