Hours: 18 hours per week (fixed term 2 year contract. Extension subject to availability of funding)
Salary: £7,020 per annum

About the role
Age UK currently delivers a successful falls prevention programme to older people in the local community.  We are now expanding our exercise and wellbeing classes to reach a wider group of older people and have an exciting programme in development. 

We are seeking a Best Foot Forward Assistant to assist with all aspects of planning, organisation and service delivery for our new programme.

This new role will deliver exercise and wellbeing classes to groups of older people, including adapting sessions to suit the needs of the group.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills, the ability to facilitate exercise and wellbeing sessions, and be passionate about improving the lives of older people.

Job Title: Community Engagement Co-ordinator

Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week (2 years' initial funding)
Starting salary: £24,074 per annum
