The help and support we provide to older people in Tameside would not be possible without the hard work, dedication and talent of our volunteers. Our volunteers are all ages, and come from all walks of life and help us in many different ways.

Volunteering is a great way to help us make a difference in the community. We have lots of ways you can get involved, from working in our shops to helping run computer workshops or fundraising events. In return, we’ll help you keep active, use your skills and experience or learn new ones and of course have fun!

All of our volunteers can expect full induction training, opportunities for personal development and support from staff and other volunteers. We can also reimburse out of pocket expenses.

Volunteer Openings

We are currently revamping our volunteer programme so have put a hold on recruting for the time being. But below you will find some of the volunteer roles we will be recruiting for soon.
