Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Parcels

Published on 17 April 2020 11:00 AM

Over the past three weeks we have seen a huge demand for our Essential Food Parcels service. This service was set up to support peoplepeople aged 55+ during the coronavirus outbreak.

Since the 24th of March, our staff and volunteers have been working hard to deliver essential food parcels to older people's homes across Copeland and Allerdale.
These parcels contain basic essential items like; bread, potatoes, cheese, soup and a small selection of fruit and vegetables.

However, in response to increasing demand we have now introduced a new 'Fresh Fruit & Vegetable' parcel to the service. These parcels cost £10 and include a wide range of fruit and vegetables, as well as eggs and milk.
