Margaret Mason Retires

Yesterday Margaret Mason retired from Age UK West Cumbria after twenty-seven year of service.

Margaret joined our Day Activities team ‘accidently’ in 1993. Whilst working for another organisation, she was asked to help out in one of our centres to cover staff sickness. A few weeks later, she employed as a permanent member of staff.

Margaret has been an asset to Age UK West Cumbria, and a well-loved and valued member of our Day Activities team. She will be sorely missed by staff, volunteers and service users alike.

We would like to wish Margaret a happy and fulfilling retirement, and all the best for the future.
