Centre Support Worker, Bognor Regis

20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12pm – 4pm. Salary £8.45 ph

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide centre support at the Laburnum Centre; helping with all aspects of administration including data entry, advertising, helping with social media and any other tasks needed to assist the centre manager with the day to day smooth running of the centre.

Catering Services Manager F/T Mon - Fri £22,500

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is a qualified chef with experience in the catering side of business. You will be based at our Bognor Regis centre for 3 or 4 days a week with the remaining days spent developing the kitchen services around the county at our other centres. We are looking for a capable individual to be in charge of all catering staff including carrying out supervisions and appraisals, liaising with suppliers and planning menus with centre chefs.

It is desirable that the successful candidate has some hands on experience with setting up new sites as we will be looking at opening up new community cafes around the County. 

This role also includes working the occasional Saturday and applicants do need to be able to drive and have their own transport.

 Relief Chef to cover West Sussex 

Salary £9.20 plus travel expenses

About the role: 
One of your key responsibilities will be preparing home made, quality meals. You will get to know our members so will respond to any special dietary requirements or preferences, promoting choice, dignity and respect.
Managing the kitchen supplies, you will also be responsible for checking and maintaining kitchen equipment
You will complete all necessary paperwork such as COSHH, HACPP, whilst adhering to company policies and procedures 
You will support the Centre Manager in training and support other kitchen staff – such as kitchen assistants and volunteers
Occasionally you will help cater for ad hoc special events that take place over the weekend or in the evening
This position requires great flexibility as the hours will not be the same every week and you will be required to cover staff holiday, sickness and other absence at any of our centres and community clubs, some of which may be at short notice.

Saturday Chef, The Laurels Rustington

Alternate Saturdays 4 hours per day
Salary £9.20 per hour

Working for our dementia service, one of your key responsibilities will be preparing home made, quality meals. The successful candidate must be reliable and fully competent in all aspects of kitchen duties including being able to produce a variety of menus and catering for special dietary needs, whilst not exceeding the budget.
Managing the kitchen supplies, you will also be responsible for checking and maintaining kitchen equipment
You will complete all necessary paperwork such as COSHH, HACPP, whilst adhering to company policies and procedures.

Salary £15,558.40 per annum 
Based at County Hall North Horsham
This role will provide access to practical support to vulnerable people where a specific need exists. The purpose is to engage directly with clients to provide one-off, time limited practical support to access sources of support available within the local area. 
The successful applicant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a range of expertise including health and social care to enable people to make any changes in their lives or make informed choices necessary to resolve their issues.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team with proven communication and people skills and knowledge and experience of delivering advice.  
These posts need you to have a full driving licence and use of a car.

This position is a self employed role, you advise us of your availability, and will be responsible for your own Tax and National Insurance payments. We especially need home helpers in the Worthing, Chichester, Crawley, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill areas.  Hourly rates of pay vary from £10-£14 depending on the area worked.
